What you do you do when you no longer measure up to the standards of success you were brought up to believe you had to achieve in order to be happy and yet, you find yourself happier than you have ever been in your life. This blog is about my journey to redefine what success means to me and how I got there. It is part memoir, part a story of how if we separate out emotion from money, we can use it as a tool to get where we want to.
I am 48 years old, mother to a 12 year old boy, former food technologist/project manager now retired due to health issues. I live in Auckland, New Zealand. I have always loved writing and had a different blog I used to contribute to regularly. After nearly 3 years I ran out of things to say, so I created this new space, but haven’t had the urge to write until now.
